Who is responsible
Muklawa is the controller for the UK-facing processing described in this notice. Privacy enquiries can be sent to privacy@muklawa.co.uk.
This public website
muklawa.co.uk is primarily an informational static website. It does not provide website account registration, profile creation or web messaging. Basic server logs may record technical information such as IP address, browser information, request time and requested page for security and operational purposes.
Mobile app data
Where you use the Muklawa mobile app, the service may process account information, profile information, preferences, approximate or selected location, communications, verification information, support records, device information, purchase information and safety records where relevant to the features you use.
Special category information
Some matchmaking information, such as religious information, may be special category personal data under UK data protection law. Muklawa must have both an Article 6 lawful basis and an appropriate Article 9 condition where special category data is processed.
Why information is used
Information may be used to provide the service, operate matching and communication features, maintain safety and security, prevent abuse, process purchases, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.
Lawful bases
Depending on the processing, lawful bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations and consent. Where consent is relied on, it can be withdrawn, although this does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Sharing
Personal data may be shared with service providers that support hosting, communications, payments, security or other service operations, and with authorities where required by law. Muklawa does not state that advertisers receive private conversations.
International transfers
